WITIn the sea of women-in-tech-are-the-underdogs articles, this one - "Why Women Leave Tech: 'It isn't Because Math is Hard'" by Kieran Snyder- finally drove me to write. Ms. Snyder states that "motherhood is the final push" out the door in tech and that "women are leaving tech because they’re unhappy with the work environment, not because they have lost interest in the work."

I am the woman Ms. Snyder is talking about and I've beat the odds. As one of the early employees on the ground floor of building a tech consulting startup I was not only one of the only women in my company ....
