KeHE Distributors, LLC (KeHE) provides Natural & Organic and Specialty products to natural food stores, chain grocery stores, independent grocery stores and other specialty product retailers throughout North America. In June of 2015, KeHE partnered with Solstice to develop a new ordering app to preserve and gain market share in a very competitive marketplace. Within five months, the team conducted interviews, field tested, and provided customer research to deliver an intuitive and eye-catching customer-centric iPhone/iPod-based ordering application. The free app yielded a positive result for KeHE, as it increased orders from existing customers and established orders with new customers. Ultimately, it assisted in the ordering process for nearly half a billion dollars in orders in 1 year.
First Alert was looking to transform their business with connected products. Startups were encroaching on their market share and the team realized they didn’t have the speed to reach a major deadline. They were in need of an Agile team that could provide IoT expertise. That’s when they partnered with Solstice. We were able to increase their speed to market to quickly launch OneLink - the first Homekit-enabled smoke detector to hit the market. Featured in a number of publications, listed in USA Today’s Top Ten at CES for 2016, and displayed in Times Square, OneLink has enhanced differentiation for First Alert and made them a strong contender in the connected home market.
