Roofing Solutions

For roofing applications, our performance additives are engineered to improve thermal stability, heat resistance and staining/oil bleeding resistance, and to increase adhesion to substrate, lower viscosity and create higher plant output. It also helps to eliminate the air-blowing (oxidation) process and reduce emissions and energy consumption.

Titan® 8145

Titan™ is a low-molecular weight functionalized polymer that can be blended with asphalt binders to improve its processability and reduce energy consumption.  


For roofing applications, Titan offers: 

  • Enhanced Durability: Improves the thermal stability and heat resistance of the asphalt binder.  
  • Improved Performance: Increases resistance to staining and oil bleeding.  
  • Better Adhesion: Increases adhesion to the roofing substrate, improving the overall integrity of the roof.  
  • Easier Application: Lowers the viscosity of the bitumen, making it easier to handle and apply, and can increase plant output.  
  • Reduced Process Impact: Helps eliminate the air blowing (oxidation) process, which reduces emissions and energy consumption during manufacturing.

NduroMatt™ multi-functional additives offer a wide range of performance attributes for architectural, wood, industrial, and functional coatings. NduroMatt™ products can completely replace conventional matting agents, or can be used to supplement matte coatings to enhance surface properties (mar, abrasion, scratch, scuff, scrub, color transfer), minimize viscosity build (due to much lower oil absorption) and improve stain resistance. 

A-C® and Acumist® Performance Additives:
Adding a small amount of AC® or ACumist® performance polymers to your formulation is a cost effective method for increasing the surface property performance, without effecting other important coating properties. Improving surface properties leads to longer coating service life and reduced maintenance costs. 

In developing a coating system, effective rheology control is essential. AC® Oxidized Polyethylene plays a key role by forming strong associations with other paint components in solvent-based formulations. This interaction delivers excellent pigment suspension and sag resistance, helping the coating maintain homogeneity during storage. During application — a high shear event—the coating thins for easy application, then rapidly rebuilds viscosity to prevent sagging or dripping ultimately enhancing appearance and finish quality.

Spray Polyurethane Foam

Closed-cell spray polyurethane foam (ccSPF) delivers insulation, air sealing, and structural strength in one step. With Solstice® technology, you can achieve high performance while dramatically reducing environmental impact.  

  • Solstice® LBA (Liquid Blowing Agent) – improves foam performance (yield, adhesion, water and air resistance, nonflammability) while also better for the environment with an ultra-low GWP of 1.
  • Enovate® 245fa – Proven replacement for HCFC-141b and other hydrofluorocarbon and nonfluorocarbon blowing agents in rigid polyurethane foam.  

XPS (Extruded Polystyrene)

Lightweight and durable, XPS insulation is widely used in construction. Solstice® GBA delivers proven performance for XPS— while cutting global warming potential by more than 99% compared to HFCs.

  • Solstice® GBA (Gas Blowing Agent) – Proven HFO solution for XPS insulation, combining performance with a >99% lower GWP than HFCs.  

Panels / Boardstock 

Insulation panels and boardstock provide reliable, large-scale thermal performance in walls, roofs, and flooring systems. With Solstice® blowing agents you get efficiency, strength and sustainability—built in.
