Brian Rudick
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Brian Rudick serves as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Solstice Advanced Materials, where he is a trusted advisor to the executive team and Board, partnering to navigate complex legal and regulatory challenges and enable business growth.
Brian brings more than three decades of legal and leadership experience, including nearly 20 years at Honeywell International, where he held senior legal and operating roles across global, publicly traded businesses in highly regulated sectors. Prior to joining Solstice in October 2025, he served as Vice President and General Counsel for Honeywell’s Energy and Sustainability Solutions (ESS) business. He also led legal functions for the Performance Materials & Technologies (PMT) and Safety and Productivity Solutions (SPS) divisions, and served on the Board of Directors of Honeywell Automation India Limited, where he expanded his global governance perspective.
In addition to his legal leadership, Brian has significant operating experience that informs his approach as a counselor. At Honeywell, he served as President of the global retail industrial safety business and as General Manager for the scanning and mobility business in Europe. In these roles, he led global operations and customer engagement, giving him a firsthand view of how legal strategy, commercial decisions, and risk management intersect in real time.
A native of Pittsburgh, Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Penn State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He began his legal career clerking for the Honorable Robert N.C. Nix, Jr., Chief Justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and later practiced at K&L Gates, where he represented UOP and Honeywell before moving in-house.
Brian is deeply committed to mentorship, public service, and expanding access to legal justice. At Honeywell, he founded and chaired the Global Law Department Pro Bono Program, an enterprise-wide platform that mobilized legal talent in support of underserved populations. Under his leadership, the program scaled to deliver meaningful impact across a range of civil rights protections, while expanding a culture of service across the legal organization and strengthening partnerships with volunteer organizations, law firms, employee networks, and customers. The Program expanded significantly in 2025, adding activities in LATAM, APAC, India, and EMEA. Brian shares his experience with the next generation of legal leaders through speaking and guest lecturing on the evolving role of in-house counsel as a trusted partner in building durable, high-performing businesses.
