A Legacy Honored
The Above & Beyond
Mary Bogdan Legacy Award
This year marks the introduction of the Above & Beyond Mary Bogdan Legacy Award — an honor created to recognize individuals whose leadership, dedication, and lasting influence elevate the spray foam industry.
It is especially meaningful that, in its inaugural year, this award is being presented to its namesake. Mary's more than 35 years of contributions have shaped the industry in profound and enduring ways — through mentorship, advocacy, and an unwavering commitment to innovation.
A career that has shaped an industry
What colleagues are saying
It is a true honor to recognize Mary for her remarkable 35+ years of service to the spray polyurethane foam industry. Her insights and guidance have been instrumental in shaping research initiatives, addressing complex regulatory challenges, and developing critical industry documents.
I have worked with Mary for more than 25 years, and I can say without hesitation that she truly cares about her work, about this industry, and about the people in it. She brings incredible expertise, integrity, and heart. She truly is a pillar of our spray foam community.
You've worked so hard to impact all of us — from many different blowing agent changes, from CFC-11 all the way through to Solstice® (Low-GWP Blowing Agents). We are all grateful for the hard work that you've done and the dedication to our industry.
