Presentations Agenda

Catch our team live at Chillventa

The presentation will highlight optimization of an R454C air-to-water (ATW) system and compare its performance against R32 and propane (R290) benchmarks. It will also present air-to-air (ATA) system modeling and optimization studies aimed at achieving R32-equivalent performance, demonstrating multiple approaches to improve R454C ATA split system efficiency, including heat exchanger circuitry optimization, flow arrangement enhancements, and other system-level design refinements.

This study shows that R-717 systems, optimized for safety with indirect configurations, can suffer efficiency penalties, while R-1234ze(E) chillers with simpler designs and centrifugal compressors can achieve lower energy consumption.

This session covers the deployment of an A2L R455A refrigeration system in a UK retail store, highlighting design, safety, F-gas compliance, and performance. It covers efficiency gains, reduced emissions, and a scalable, cost-effective low-GWP solution for commercial refrigeration.

The presentation highlights cold chain losses during a major power failure and the role that HFO refrigeration systems can play in increasing the resilience of the cold chain during such events.

This session explores how oil-free micro turbo compressors and low-GWP HFO refrigerants can enable next-generation HVAC systems. From heat pumps to A/Cs, combining both technologies can support higher efficiency, compact design, and sustainable performance across applications.
