Solstice Advanced Materials Takes Legal Action in Europe to Protect Intellectual Property Rights

MORRIS PLAINS, N.J., Oct. 16, 2026 – Solstice Advanced Materials (Nasdaq: SOLS), a global leader in high-performance specialty materials, issued the following statement today about actions taken to protect the company’s intellectual property position:

“At the recent Chillventa 2026 industry trade show in Nuremberg, Germany, Solstice took action against five exhibitors to enforce its European patents covering the manufacturing process of a certain hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) and the composition of a certain proprietary HFO blend.

“Solstice secured preliminary injunctions from the Regional Courts of Frankfurt and Nuremberg. All court-issued orders in connection with the alleged infringement of the respective intellectual property rights were formally served by bailiffs at the event. In accordance with the courts’ orders, enforcement actions were carried out at the event, including the removal of relevant marketing materials from certain booths under official search orders. An appeal against the respective preliminary injunctions may be filed at any time by the affected exhibitors.

“Solstice welcomes fair competition and believes that respect for intellectual property rights is fundamental to continued innovation and a competitive global marketplace. The Company will continue to closely monitor the marketplace and take appropriate steps to safeguard its intellectual property rights.”
