Medical Propellant

HFO-1234ze(E), GMP

As a near-zero global warming potential (GWP) propellant, our HFO-1234ze(E), GMP offers performance similar to HFC-134a and is a near drop-in replacement with only minimal changes required to equipment.

Overview
HFO-1234ze(E), GMP is a breakthrough for pressurized metered dose inhalers (pMDIs). A non-flammable and low global warming potential (GWP) alternative to hydrofluorocarbons, it is non-ozone-depleting, VOC-exempt (U.S. EPA and CARB), with an ultra-low GWP of less than 1.
